Exhibition at Hou-an Kitakamakura
Hou-an is the tearoom which stands next to Jochi-ji Temple, one of the Five Great Zen Temples (Kamakura Gozan), and is nestled in the same valley.
Hou-an has two tea rooms: “Jyo-anken,” designed by Bunzo Yamaguchi, one of the leader of Modernism architecture in Japan, and “Muso-an,” which is extremely small in size and characterized by its rush roof and a circular window.
